We were in Rapid City, SD about 2 months ago and I am just now finally getting around to posting this Twitter ‘happening’ I’ll call it.  Here is the story:

After soundcheck, Derek, Tyler, James and I went to a coffee shop nearby.  While there I was talking about how you can search for nearby tweets on Twitterrific on the iPhone and it will show the most recent tweets based on your location.  So I showed the others the most recent one that was about “bearded hipsters” and I said you never know someone could be talking about us… We quickly realized once “MurdocJ”s picture loaded that this particular tweet was about us and came from the guy sitting in the corner.  He packed up and left right after that so I decided to respond to him via Twitter… and you can see the results above.  Pretty amazing that we had an encounter with someone via Twitter while we were in the same room!
